Good for the price. Nothing fancy
The units location was great with a beautiful view of the ocean!
It really needs to be cleaned on a deeper level. It wasn’t extremely cleaned. You can tell the cleaning ladies do it quickly. The bathroom section would need some renovations.

There was no soap, the staff would not help or answer any questions everything had to be done by the app because the reservation was not done thru them.

We expected a much nicer experience, but felt like we were staying in a motel. The room felt used, and the construction
The private beach was nice and close. Resort was further down the Hotel Zone with less noise and people.
A full list of issues: A mildew smell to the room. The towels were damp. A used plunger with toilet paper stuck to it sitting next to the toilet in plain view. Some outlets did not work. The WiFi was very patchy, making it impossible to resolve an issue I had with my airline travel, kicking me out of a help chat every few minutes. There was construction being done to the pool that we were not made aware of. No pool access whatsoever, constant drilling and pounding through all daylight hours. Worst of all, stains on the headboard of the bed. When we asked for a resolution we were not offered another room, but they showed up with trash bags and duct tape to cover the headboard. Completely ruining our romantic evening in Cancun. Overall the conditions made us feel like we were staying in a motel, for a higher price than the very nice AirBNB we stayed at earlier on the trip, in the same exact Solymar building. We will not be returning to this location.
